Gold prices across Pakistan continued their upward trajectory on Saturday, advancing by Rs1,100 per tola to settle at Rs442,036. The local bullion market’s latest rally directly mirrored positive momentum in the global trading arena, where international precious metals experienced fresh weekend gains.
According to the latest pricing data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the rate for 10 grams of gold also saw a proportional increase, climbing by Rs943 to reach Rs378,974. Industrial and secondary precious metals followed the primary market’s lead, with domestic silver prices rising by Rs43 to close the day at Rs6,555 per tola.
This weekend’s steady increase compounds a massive price jump recorded on Friday, when the per tola price of gold spiked by Rs5,900 to close at Rs440,936. The sustained domestic bullishness is anchored entirely by the international market, where global bullion advanced by $11 during the session to trade at a formidable $4,195 per ounce.
