Pakistani digital lending platform AdalFi is preparing to launch an initial public offering (IPO) on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) next month, aiming to raise up to Rs652 million ($2.35 million). The financial technology company, a subsidiary of Techlogix, plans to utilise the newly raised capital to broaden its footprint in the Islamic financing and small-to-medium enterprise (SME) lending segments, according to a recent Bloomberg report.

AI-Driven Credit Assessments

Operating on a business-to-business-to-consumer (B2B2C) framework, AdalFi leverages artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced data analytics to assess creditworthiness. By collaborating directly with commercial banks, the platform’s proprietary automated credit-scoring engine scans existing customer transaction data to identify individuals and businesses eligible for financing.

This deep integration allows traditional financial institutions to instantly process loan applications, dynamically evaluate credit risks, and offer tailored, pre-approved financial products to prospective borrowers in real time.

Bridging the Financial Inclusion Gap

The core objective of the platform is to deepen financial inclusion across Pakistan, a market where formal banking penetration remains severely constrained. According to figures cited in the report, only about 30 per cent of the country’s adult population currently has access to formal banking services, leaving a massive untapped market for digital-first credit solutions.

The upcoming public listing follows a highly successful private fundraising endeavour. In February 2023, AdalFi secured $7.5 million in a funding round led by UAE-based COTU Ventures and Chimaera Ventures. The round also saw significant participation from prominent regional investors, including Fatima Gobi Ventures, Zayn Capital, and several angel investors.

Riding the IPO Market Resurgence

AdalFi’s decision to tap the public equity markets coincides with a broader resurgence in Pakistan’s IPO landscape throughout 2026. After a period of sluggish capital market activity, several companies are now aggressively pursuing public offerings.

Market analysts attribute this revival in equity fundraising to stabilizing macroeconomic indicators under the ongoing International Monetary Fund (IMF) programme. Coupled with a cycle of easing interest rates, enhanced domestic liquidity, and rejuvenated investor confidence, the PSX has become an increasingly attractive avenue for companies seeking capital.

AdalFi’s proposed offering will inject a prominent digital lending and fintech player into the stock market, providing investors with direct exposure to Pakistan’s rapidly evolving digital financial services sector.
