At-Tahur Limited has successfully processed a principal repayment of Rs178 million against its Rs800 million Sukuk-III issuance, simultaneously clearing the applicable quarterly profit payment for its certificate holders.

In a formal disclosure submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Wednesday, the company confirmed that the transaction was completed on 13 October, strictly adhering to the agreed terms and conditions of the corporate Sukuk programme. The repayment covered a significant Rs178 million tranche in principal redemption out of the original Rs800 million debt facility, paired with the scheduled profit distribution.

The Rs800 million Sukuk-III issuance—which was successfully closed earlier with strong market participation—is part of the company’s broader strategic financial management. At-Tahur noted that this timely disbursement underscores its steadfast commitment to meeting its financial obligations to investors within prescribed timelines, whilst continuously complying with the disclosure requirements set by the PSX and the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP).

The debt repayment comes on the heels of a highly successful financial year for the Lahore-based dairy enterprise. Best known to consumers for its premium ‘Premá’ brand, At-Tahur Limited recently posted robust financial results for FY2026. The company’s net profit surged by over 55 per cent year-on-year to Rs821.4 million, driving its earnings per share (EPS) up to Rs3.76, while total revenues climbed to approximately Rs6.93 billion.

Beyond honouring its debt commitments, the company has actively reinvested its capital into operational expansion and sustainability. Over the past year, At-Tahur has broadened its fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) portfolio—introducing spring water and Gelato tubs to complement its core dairy, egg, and honey offerings—and commissioned a 200-kilowatt solar power system to reduce its reliance on the national grid.

Financial analysts note that the company’s strong cash flows, gross margin improvements, and continuous market expansion have comfortably positioned it to service its Sukuk-III obligations without hindering its operational growth.
